Children and Family Ministry
The vision that fuels our work in Children and Families Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” In the midst of a consuming ministry to adults, Jesus regularly ministered to children. We believe the future of the church depends on effective ministry to children and their families today. Because of this, we look forward to the opportunity to partner with parents in the spiritual development of their children. Consider children of today and tomorrow. Wonder at the many ways our gracious God will work in and through them. Imagine children and adults sharing the journey as missionaries and world changers. Imagine children —

. . . growing strong in their faith
. . . focused on God’s presence
. . . nurtured in loving homes supported by a strong congregation
. . . developing healthy relationships
. . . equipped as stewards of God’s resources
. . . actively engaged in service, witness, worship.

Imagine children boldly confessing, “This Jesus is like no other. He is Christ, the Son of God.”
To accomplish this we are here to support, encourage, and equip parents in their God-given responsibility to be the primary spiritual teacher of their children through assisting in coordinating ministries and programming for children (newborn through grade 6) and their families with the ultimate goal of helping children come to know, love and follow Jesus Christ.
